The KWSA MyEdge mobile app is custom-developed for South African Keller Williams property associates and their clients. Keller Williams sales associates will immediately recognise the app’s deep integration with KW’s productivity solutions and methodology. In fact, the app is based on the models and systems described in Gary Keller’s best-selling book, The Millionaire Real Estate Agent.
This is what the MyEdge mobile app will do for your clients
As a KW associate, your clients will benefit from the multitude of time-saving functionalities when buying or selling property. More specifically, it will help clients to get their perfect home.
Imagine driving through an area that appeals to you as you’re looking for your next home. A few days earlier, your friendly, professional Keller Williams estate agent recommended you download her mobile app. You decided to focus your property search on a particular geographic area by circling that area on a map. Your budget goes up to R2 million. Because the app has easy-to-use search filters, you quickly focus your search on the app to properties available for sale up to your budget amount.
As you drive in the area, say, the Garden Route, the mobile app shows you all the homes for sale listed by Keller Williams associates in that area. In fact, it highlights properties available for sale as you drive past them.
Because Keller Williams Eden is the largest estate agency in the area, you have a very large selection of properties to choose from. With a simple click, you can see the relevant details of the property for sale, more photos and the agent’s contact details.
When you see a property that you like, you simply click a button to call the listing agent or to send a quick message to the agent. The agent responds within seconds and makes arrangements with you to view the property. You can also save the properties you like in the app to have a look at later.
As a property buyer, you are happy because you get the property you’re looking for and quick, professional service. As a property seller, you are even happier because your property gets unmatched exposure leading to a quick sale.
Property buyers can mark any property as a favourite on the app to find it quickly later. It’s a simple click on the star button and the property is placed in your easy-to-see list of favourites.
To share a property, your clients can simply click on the share button for many sharing options. This includes social media favourites such as Facebook, Twitter and LinkedIn as well as WhatsApp, email, instant messaging and many more.
This is what the MyEdge Mobile app will do for Keller Williams associates
The best estate agents are not in an office all day. Yet, we often feel tethered to a desk because many of the tools and software we use are not mobile yet. This is especially true for our listing and office management systems.
The MyEdge app now allows you to run some of the most important daily functions of an agent on the app itself. This includes listing properties and client communication. Of course, there is much more to come in future iterations of the app.
Top estate agents know that time is money. The MyEdge Mobile app allows you to start listing a property – at the property itself! Being location aware, the app will pull in the correct property address right there and then. You can add an attention-grabbing heading, description and the price of the property. If you have a phone with a good camera, you can then proceed to take photos of the property. The app stores each photo against the relevant room or area, say, living room or front view.
This basic listing is uploaded to your Keller Williams listing system. When you get back to the office, the basic listing will already be on the system waiting for you to bring the final touches (for example, professional photos) to it. If you’re satisfied, the finalised listing is then uploaded to all advertising portals and a link is sent to your client.
As any top agent knows, the real estate game is all about communication. With that in mind, the MyEdge Mobile app allows you to add contacts, call them, send emails and text messages. You can even send pre-populated birthday text messages to your clients from the app – in one of 5 official languages!
